Geographical isolation in relation to speciation: Polyploidy and it’s taxonomic treatment, Origin of species. Study of important crops in Sudan. Practicals: Taxonomic studies of important monocotyledonous plants e.g. The gramminae. Reproduction in plants: Study of different methods of reproduction, construction of taxonomic keys to differentiate between species.
