Structure of membranes, physico-chemical techniques, isolation of membranes. Morphology and interaction of different biological membranes: plasma membrane, mitochondrion, chloroplast, mesosome, endoplasmic reticulum, golgi apparatus, lysosome, tonoplast, nucleus and other membranes. Membrane transport of: non-electrolytes, transport of ions, transport of water. Transport by special mechanisms: receptor and ligand interaction.
